Workers need to understand how they are doing — and so they need to are aware of it continuously. They crave each sure and positive comments. What are their strengths? The place can they enhance? The place do they stand within the group?
It can be each supervisor’s accountability to offer significant comments regularly. And that does not imply ready for the annual evaluation to roll round: Staff which can be highly engaged at work receive feedback at least once a week.
But giving feedback regularly isn’t just beneficial for the employee — it’s beneficial for the team, too. Did you know that receiving feedback can actually inspire your employees to work harder and become more engaged? In fact, 69% of employees say they would work harder if they felt their efforts were being better recognized. Employees who receive little or no feedback from their managers tend to disengage from their work more readily.
